I recently purchased a 23x18 print of this photo, and just got it back framed, and after I hung it up, I realized something.
How did you take this photo without your reflection being in it?
Regardless, I really really like it.
Planning on getting another one next Christmas, either the Bamboo Forest in Maui, or the Tree in Wadi Rum, Jordan.

Seeing humans and boundries in the zebra's eye makes me want to go and set him/her free. Such pride, acceptance, and sadness...I don't know how to describe how splendid this image is to me, but it touches my heart.

This one really gets me since I feel like I am seeing the world through the animal's eyes. The composition of the reflection where you can see through the windows (and eyes are the windows to the soul of course) to the beyond is stunning. I like that there is a man in that reflection; this is what the animal is seeing, how he sees us. I have no idea how you got this photo but what a moment it must have been.

I'm so confused by this
I'm so confused by this picture. From the reflection in the zebra's eye, it looks like he's standing in the middle of a conference room or something!
