I'm afraid don't know much about cameras, or lenses, or contrasts, but I can imagine this as being one of those places where I'd want to be very still and soak up the peace of the place until I'm filled with it. That's what I feel when I look at this picture. Thank you so much for sharing that!

I'm not sure how I missed this on my first visit... Definitely one to purchase.
And I set it as my desktop wallpaper--- NIkki-- just right click and choose save. He said that's ok to do on the main photography page.... Just don't repost or distribute...

I like the depth of the dark bamboo actually. That is what moves me so much in this photo. This photo has a heart. I would love this as a background on my desktop - Paul, you should make some available for downloading!

Having just come back from Maui, I'm pretty sure I know where this picture was taken ... the national park near Hana, I'm guessing.
Very nice ... very nice perspective. Nice crisp lines. A little dark for my tastes, but that does not detract from the impact.
