This is a fascinating picture of an amazing animal. The worId would be much diminished were elephants not a part of it. The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee, mentioned by someone in the links page, is indeed a wonderful place. I have read about it and even looked at the ele-cam on occasion. It is a special place and deserves as much support as possible. It is a way to care for and give back to animals who have been made to entertain human beings for their entire lives, often under horrible conditions.
